Your child helps Father Christmas save a sunny South African Christmas! A personalised A4 landscape hardcover storybook, illustrated from your photos (or your description) and written in English or Afrikaans.
The story: It’s a scorching Christmas Eve – beach in the morning, braai in the afternoon – when a present under the tree starts to glow and a tiny elf called Pip tumbles out: “Father Christmas needs you!” With a whoosh of snowflake dust, your little helpers – plus any grown-ups and the family pet you add – land in Father Christmas’s workshop, where the wrapping machine has just gone CLANK-BOING and the elves are far behind. Your little helpers take charge of an elves’ wrapping race – fold, tape, bow! – and finish the last present just as the big clock strikes. After a carrot supper with the reindeer in the stable, it’s off in the sleigh to South Africa, where the reindeer flop onto the lawn, far too hot to fly! Out comes the garden hose and a cooler box of ice lollies – “One, two, three… SPLASH!” – and the reindeer leap up, cool and ready. Together they fly with Father Christmas over their very own suburb at sunset, dropping the last presents by parachute (and only just missing a tall palm tree!), with a quick cookie-and-milk stop on the way home. Father Christmas makes them honorary elves with a golden badge and their own elf names, and on Christmas morning they find a shiny sleigh bell waiting under the tree.
